I live in a shared house (5 people),and want to take out a small contents insurance policy (less than 3k) just for my own contents.

Are there any other insurance companies that allow you to do this, except for Endsleigh, and who would you recommend?

Suspect most insurance companies probably have a minimum of circua 10,000 for contents insurance.

Are you a student sharing a house?  If so, perhaps the Students Union might be able to recommend a policy.

It's not a student house, no.
I have been unable to find any others but Ensleigh... if you are a student perhaps there is a clause in your parents insurance, when I was at uni I was covered this way, now i'm with Ensleigh!
