That made me laugh.... says who? I think the majority of people would know who he was if he was a music legend, I think it's pushing it to call him a celebrity, what do you all think?

The Happy Mondays were not a popular main steam band which meant they were only in retrospect considered influencial IMO.
Don't forget " Fantastic",Naznomad.
Tony Wilson was quoted as saying he was the greatest poet we have ever had since WB Yeats. I think he wil do well, after all he has put his body through a few bugs arent going to phase him.
woop woo -someone actually thought (merciasounds no less -get in there) that i was serious that bez was a legend.............I can now officially do TIC and get a reaction from someone who has flounced -result lol
Bez isn't a legend ... he is, however, legendary. :-)
O TB -I laughed at that as well -think he is gonna be a laugh in there.Decent fella:)
Naz -think the OP was jibing re legend status -yeah I agree legend isnt a word which should in normal circumstances be bandied about.
I have the Happy Mondays album that has a picture of a doll's head on the cover.

Can't remember the name off hand.

It was good.

Legendary, perhaps.
I find it ridiculous when we get autobiographies from 20 year old so called pop stars. Good job Benny from Crossroads didn't write one.
yeah he sure is Naz -he was in the jungle as well -he was sound :)
Did anyone see them on Most Haunted ... priceless viewing.

Do you mean this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bummed ?

I'm not certain it's a doll's head, though...
The only song of theirs I know is 'Step on' they were more famous for the riotous lif-style rather than anything else. Right place, right time, crusing off the reputation of the whole Madchester thing. Cant hold a torch to the Charlatans or Stone Roses.
