What can I add to some leftover mixed fruit (from my xmas cake), so I can use it for mince pies???

Sugar, butter, mixed spice, a drop of brandy ... I have no idea of quantities, sorry.

Chopped Apple - candied peel - Orage & Lemon Zest - Chopped Almonds - Brown sugar - Mixed Spice - Ground Cinnamon - Ground nutmeg and some brandy.

Oh! And some suet.

Thank you both. Plenty of brandy, then maybe they will not notice the wrong quantities!!!!!!!

If you google 'mincemeat recipe' you should get something with the amounts. You can never have too much brandy. :-)))
