Win7 Media Centre PC - Sony Bravia TV

I recently bought a Win7 Media Centre PC which I linked to my Sony Bravia TV.

This set up has a wireless keyboard and mouse, it's very difficult to balance both on my lap so I use the onscreen keyboard using the mouse on a hardback book with a mousemat stuck to the cover.

I would love to be able to use a remote with this set up, can anyone advise?

The mouse will work ok on any smooth non reflective surface, you don`t need a mouse mat, I use mine on a melamine surface and it works ok, ok?. Sorry, I can`t help with a remote set-up, but I`ll bet an Aber-techie can.
