People on the one show are complaining that other peoples accidents are resulting in them being quoted higher premiums. They don't like swapping providers!
Don't these people know that insurance companies, like banks, are not there for the benefit of customers!
They are businesses and exist to make A PROFIT!
They will not look after you; that's your job.

I went to mine last month and they quited me almost £300 more this year than last year, i told them no chance, I wouldn't pay more than last year as I had another no claims year, they dropped it by £200 or so and threw in windscreen cover, national breakdown and legal cover. If insurance companies make less profit they'll have to get second jobs like other people have to.
