how  do you add an item th the send to menu please?

I have Win XP as my OS. soooo..... Click Mycomputer/C/Documents and Settings/Owner/Send to and opem

n the send to folder........then I right click the icon on the desktop that I need to add (eg Photoshop) and drag to the opened Send to folder and select create a shortcut here from the menu...then if I right click a pic file Photoshop appears  in the Send to list...hope that helps ...commoner.

Further to commoner's reply be aware that the SendTo folder is hidden, so unless you have enabled Show hidden files and folders under Tools → Folder Options... → View you will not find it.

If you envisage further additions to the Send To menu you can extend commoner's instructions by including a shortcut to the SendTo folder within the SendTo folder itself. This will give the option to Send To Send To Folder any shortcut you right-click on.
