hi i have a xbox with a mod installed. it a a xecuter 2 mod if that helps. when i was trying to back up the new grand theft auto san Andreas, on to my hard drive the strangest thing happend. it copied fine , but when i selected it on the menu to play it just reverted back to the menu and did'nt say "error" or anything. so i think the disk didnt write. does anyone have any ideas why this happend or a way to overcome it, maybe the disk had some sort of anti-copy thing on it? ? ?

cheers. any help woul be great.

Some games are copy protected by making sure that the media the game is running from is read only (ie a DVD)

Depending on what you used to "Backup" the games with with deside on the outcome. Try updating the "Backup" software.
PXX HDDloader and DVD2XBOX both patch the game as it's copied( get latest releases).
