I haven't seen this film in years - all I can remember is that I really loved it - lenny henry, alan cummings and rowan atkinson.  Does anyone know where I can get it for less than 20 - its up to 50 - 60 on ebay - anyone got any idea why? I'd lvoe to get hold of a copy but its so pricey!

The TV film was released on VHS Video tape in 1996, so long deleted, hence the price.

On Amazon it would cost you 70.

I would suggest looking out for it at Car Boot Sales or Collector's Fairs.

I love that film too!  Especially the bit where the little kid goes into santa's grotto and comes out as Gary Lineker!

If I were you I'd buy the mega xmas radio times and scour the listings, I reckon there's a good chance it'll be on some time over the festive season.

I have this on tape when the BBC first showed it back in 1992.

You can get it on region 1 dvd. http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=D75749++

only about 17 including delivery.
