I thought buggar that - it will take ages to thaw out. Got the magnifier out and it says "Tastiest when..." Trouble is my first reading has put me off the whole idea now.

What a gent you are - unlike Steve! I love you both really ♥
I have the same trouble ttfn. i forget to take my reading glasses with me so just end up squinting at the box. No wonder I'm always burning everything.
Lol. When I read that I thought "How honest"!!!!!

I looked in the fridge, looked in the freezer and never got as far as reading packets. The Pizza delivery man is my saviour. I wonder if I can put his number on friends and family?!

tbh Barmaid I thought they had mis-spelt tasteless! Why draw the consumer's eyes away from the most important word in that sentence by following it with capitals?
Aint the snow falling just a bit deeper these days
they are building the stairs a bit steeper these days
things are changing in so many ways
its time
just time
And the young folk are growing exceptionally tall
newspaper print is becoming so small
and folks talk so soft you can hardly hear them at all
its time
just time

Hello alex ♥ Aint it the truth though - I try the stairs out just once a day if I can, the hearing aids are doing a grand job, and if it snows this year - it will be hibernation for me. Sorry I missed you at club last week - unaware of which day it was I partook of an early night. I intend to enjoy my dotage ;o)
ttfn i hope you had something for dinner.................
That;s a nice little poem Alex,
Prints are becoming finer and finer on everything!
Have you noticed how fine the prints are on over-the-counter medicine, and just about every packaged stuff? I find myself squinting to read some of them. I don't use glasses yet but I find myself moving things further away from me to read them.

cheese board thanks anne, evening girls. The leaflets that come with my meds make me smile - so much info in such small print. The 'lost the will to live' bit comes half way through the first paragraph
My OH is always reading those leaflets, it's a case of "will I live" when he reads out all the side effects he can have from taking the tablets.
I have a rather sexy magnifying glass with a matt silver surround.....
Question Author
Is there one there for carpet stains gran? What a shame for OH and you.
I always like to know exactly what med I am on, for what purpsoe and it's generic name. i was once able to explain that one of my meds was a nifedipine as the brand name was not in the Dr's book.
I'm blaming his meds for the carpet accident, he sometimes gets forgetful or 'unaware' of things when he gets tired.

Well said gran. craft, on a bad day I need Jodrell Bank!
