Should Militant Muslims in Brfitain be de-Radicalised?

Our prisons are full up with these so called religious nutters whose only purpose in life is to kill those who disagree with them. The latest stabbing of Stephen Timms show how far they are willing to go.

So now she is being sent to prison for at least 15 years spreading her hate and vile probably encouraging all those who listen to her. Fifteen years of spreading her views in prison makes the matter worse.

Why can't they be forced to attend sessions on de-radicalisation? Is there any difference in trying to deprogram others from religious sects which are often carried out?

The idea is not new. Saudi Arabia often does it and has much success. In fact if it wasn't for the Al Qaeda terrorist who gave information to the authorities about those parcel bombs recently what damage could have been caused. This terrorist had a course of de-programming in the past.

Eddie is it only the muslims that recieve this treatment? i would've thought that the vegetarian food and those with nut/fish allergies etc.. would be be given the same hygiene treatment?

Apparently the exact meaning of the Islamic texts relating to the promised 72 virgins is unclear. It is possible that the promise relates to 72 raisins. What a disappointment!! :o)

The charge of treason should be brought back.

If found guilty of Treason then the prisoner, should be sent to an old Airforce camp, miles away from anywhere, (believe me they do exist, or at least they did)

There they would be de-Islamerised (no such word I know, but you get the gist).it worked on the Nazis to some extent.

Along with this incarceration, they would also loose all the benefits of being a British subject, ie not allowed to own a passport, not entitled to state benefits etc, etc.

Oh! I forgot male or female they should be sterilised so that they could not produce other potential traitors.

Since I (unlike you I presume) can remember the real Nazis, I find your remark very offensive.

It is a pity that they don't make calling a person a Nazi an offence, just as they do with the 'N' word or the 'P' word.

Put in that context it is less than funny.

But the sterilisation of certain people, is a valid debatable point, obviously you disagree, but there are many who would agree, therefore it is unfair to call all those that disagree with you, names.
