Took my jetski to be fixed as it would not start to a main dealer. They replaced the starter motor which did not make any difference, then they said it was the prop shaft which they replaced and it started. While testing the ski it was cutting out now i've had to replace the piston and had to re-bore the cylinder, after this job was done whilst testing the other piston failed and they have had to replace that one. My question is do I have to pay for these repairs because the pistons failed whilst in the care of the garage during testing?

Thanks docspock, just one thing before they replaced the 1st piston they checked the compression from the cylinders and they told me there weren't any issues with the engine?
