Has anybody had a Tax repayment....

I had a letter this morning to say I had paid to much and should have a cheque within 7 days for £*,***,**.
What a lovely surprise, just before Xmas.

My son does every year when i do his tax return. only his goes straight in his bank....

It was in the press that a bunch of people had the wrong tax codes this year... some people are being asked to pay more and some lucky so-in-so like you are getting rebates.

I did say I wouldn't tell you how much it was until I got the cheque in my hand, well I have received it now and it was for £2,450.00. :-)
