Jack Russells must be the cleverest breed.

My jack russell (10 months) is the stupidest dog i have ever met, he is not useful unless he is licking food off the floor when you drop it!
Annemollie, yes , I have wolfhounds. I've had 4 over the years and now have a dog pup of 16 months and a bitch of about 11 years. Irish Wolfhounds don't belong in a thread about dog tricks or heelwork to music practice, which we got a glimpse of in the clip (tried that but the step over the dog was... er... painful). They're laid back in shows, but twice round that big ring would be too much for me! Thank goodness we don't have to put them on the table for judging, that's all I can say. A youngster will stop growing upwards eventually, though it never seems like it. But then you have the joy of a dog muscling up for another longish time. But they do mature mentally in time. ( At around about 10 years is my experience)
