It seems that a scouse accent makes them grow quicker, researchers across the uk spoke to their plants every day for 4 weeks,to find out which accent had the biggest impact

A lily grew 10.2in when addressed by a scouser
6.7in by a cockney
5.5in by a geordie
3.5in by a taff
2in by a brummie
But died a week later when spoken to by the irish....,,,,,
