She lies on my bed and this rust brown coloured muck,is staining the duvet cover,i wipe her eyes with moist cotton wool,should i take her to a vet?

I definitely would. I wonder if the rust colour is blood? She could have an infection and the vet could give her a jab and some drops.

worth seeing the vet, my No 1 son weeps brown stuff out of his right eye a lot but he has hay fever, I just wipe it away.
