Mighty Dub Katz (aka Norman Cook) released a track called Work It Work It (along with Ghetto Girl in 1997. I'm trying to find out what track they sampled for the bass line in Work It Work It. Anyone know the answer?

6 years on, I just realized I never posted an "answer":
The bass line comes from: I Hear Music In The Streets by Unlimited Touch.

I have it in my loft. I will try and dig it out and have a listen.

Would really appreciate it if you can help out, Haggisdj! I'm scouring my collection at the moment, cos I'm sure I've heard that bass line on another track (possibly some 80s New Wave thing or a 70s funk thing...) Norman Cook was very sneaky with his use of clever samples - and often didn't credit them on his releases. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Over a year later, I've finally managed to find the answer, thanks to one of the trainspotters in that superb on-line music resource, Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/
