can you freeze Pattypan squash,if yes is left in the raw state or cooked first?

Don't really recommend it. Pattypan squash is a summer squash and has a high liquid content (not dissimilar to courgettes).. Winter squashes are rather different as they usually have a higher sugar content. The best way to freeze them is to roast them in chunks first and then freeze.
