It's excellent, but also, is obviously inspired by The Two Ronnies' song sketches.
My questions are,
a) What is the tune?
b) I've looked on Youtube for a Two Ronnies song to the same tune as I'm convinced they used it way back when.. but couldn't find a sketch that contained this tune. Can anyone else?

Yes they did, but I can't work out the music, I know it well - it's a classical piece, I'm racking my brains!
number 7 Entry of the Gladiators
Thanks carrot, brilliant, this is it

"Entry of the Gladiators" is a military march composed in 1897 by the Czech composer Julius Fučík.

That's it!
Perfect! Thanks a lot, just after posting I recognised it as "that circus music", I never would have recognised it as a bona fide classical piece - (by Julius Fucik, composed 1897).
