I have installed the latest AVG 'Customer Service' programme on my Windows XP PC - it gives you faster connection, cleans up files, blah de blah - it is genuine but ...

it frizzed my Statup orogramme so badly I had to have may data saved, hard drive wiped, and everythig re-installed - BEWARE!!!!

internet explorer 8 has the same corrupting. effect but i refuse to pay bt for putting it right, they b***s it up
how come Prudentia? I have IE8 and it's fine for me, we are on btonline too.
simply doesn't work, messages say ie explorer (no add ons) so it just does not work.

What have BT got to do with IE8?
I'm on IE8 with no problems.....
Use system restore to a time before avg installed. Never heard of the avg customer service programme. I have heard of their anti virus.
