what type of bulbs are they?
Question Author
hyacinths mostly hawkwalk
put them outside ,until it gets really cold
My spring hanging basket is showing too, the shoots have been up for weeks - it's the change in the seasons. I keep my bulbs outside though, they have to take their chances - the ones in the greenhouses now are surely flowering for Christmas?
are you growing prepared hyacinths for indoors or are they garden ones for spring flowering? Either way you can only slow them by cooling them down so dont put them in the greenhouse.

the trouble with leaving them outside i have found that the teracotta pots tend to crack with the frost.
Ah - you need frostproof pots then!
They need to be in the dark, as well as being in a cool place.
