Cover everything you don't want painted! (and those paint pods are crap unless you use the correct paint, which casts a fortune, just use a roller)

I dont have strong enough hands to use a roller, I thought paint pods required minimal effort.
you still need to roll with a paint pod and they are not that good. I would just use a normal roller unless you really cant use one, then in that case get a painter in.
My other half works for B & Q and sometimes has to do displays showing new paper, paint etc (like little room mock ups) and he has to use the paint pod.

He says it is horrid. And as Chuck says you have to use the proper paint which is really expensive.
I bought one last year and they are brill easy to use as long as you follow instructions dont try to use cheap paint in it cos it wont work properly. the paint is dearer than normal but it goes twice as far as normal paint... the extention pole isnt very long but if you have lowish ceilings its fine. hope all goes well
Goodness sake ... Do it properly with a good brush.
Save money at the same time.
If you have never done it before have a good read of the following and then get on with it.

Everybody has to have a "first time". You'll probably make a few mistakes in your first attempt but so does everybody else so learn from them. You can always cover up your mistakes the next time you decorate.
Try to enjoy it and it won't be so bad.
Top tip - if you are painting a ceiling, wear a shower cap
If you think you may have trouble with a paint pod why not try a paint PAD. Okay a lot of people dismiss them and like anything they can take a little getting used to. As an ex pro decorator I am well used to using a roller, but for some areas, using the proper pad, they can be very good. Obviously you don't want a cheapy one. They are just made of sponge. To work at their best, try using a pad bought from a pro decorators shop and which are made of mohair.
