Yes you are right, it was scheduled for last Monday - I don't know if anyone is in touch with her. Likewise jackthehat - surgery last Friday. I hope they are both OK.

Someone posted that JTH was fine but had to stay in hospital for a few extra days - there had been a slight complication with something getting nicked during the op. It was nothing to worry about but they wanted to keep her in to make sure she stayed lying down or something - there was something about stopping any spinal fluid leaking from the nick.
