You mean there are no rest homes for TV anchors in the U.K.?  My goodness... Following that it's off to that great Teleprompter in the sky... Or selling used cars... or becoming a WalMart Greeter...("Hi!  need a cart?")

As far as I see, they keep doing the news - see Tyne Tees.  Saying that, the guy's ill now so I wish him well anyway.
