I have bought TWO Daily Telegraphs today and NEITHER has a Review section with the GK crossword. Does anyone have any idea why not? Has anyone had the same problem.  (Two different newsagents and two different areas of London). Am furious and frustrated!

Thanks

I have had this problem in the past..especially when we lived in London! I always check now that all the sections are there before I go to pay for my paper. It may be possible that they have some unsold copies in the morning so you can always complain and they may give you the relevant section.Worth a try.
I live in Wiltshire and these days every part of the Saturday Telegraph comes in one wrapper except for the main paper and Sport. There is no reason why this should not be done all over the country - ask your retailers to insist on it and this problem will go away. Sadly I am afraid this does happen all too frequently. No help now but as the others have said checking everything is there is the only way. How annoying for you.
like the others I check all the papers for supplements in any shop they sometimes look at me but I explain why and was told in one shop they sometimes don't have the supplements to put in in that case like you I would go elsewhere. I brought 5 papers in Tesco today and once I had them in the trolley checked through and if says free DVD make sure its there I can understand how you feel its such poor service these days where ever you go . good luck
I live in Manchester and the same thing has happened to me on a couple of occasions. The Saturday Guardian is in a sealed cellophane wrapper and I think all broadsheet papers should be provided in the same manner considering there are so many supplements at the weekend. You could try phoning your local supermaarker to see if they will keep a copy for you before they all returned.
This obviously happens all over the country - I live in Bedfordshire, and have regularly missed sections - like the others, I now check through the sections as I do my shopping in Tescos.

My local newagent was good enough to inform me if one or more sections had not arrived though I was able to purchace complete newspapers from alternative local sources.  After the third time this happened (3 strikes and you are out) I swithced newsagents and so far (after 3 months) have had no problems.

Maybe if you checked in the 'Weekend' section of the Saturday Telegraph you may find the crossword.  The GK crossword in the Sunday Tel is in the 'Review' section.
