I don't know and I don't care
it was a joke for heaven sake!
it will be perfectly safe so long asyou take the following precautions.......1.don't tell anyone its out there    2.pad lock the plant at night and when you leave unattended  3. cancel your milk when you go away....take these steps and your yucca should be perfectly safe outdoors

hi all

yucca lover mr pixi says it'll be fine outside from late spring to early autumn as long as its not frosty but needs to be fetched in in winter

Yucca Gloriosa (not sure of spelling) Yucca Recurvata and Yucca Whipplii (sp?) should be okay to plant out all year round and available at virtually every garden centre 15.00 - 20.00
