Can anyone reccomend a nice, simple, easy curry recipe for someone that's never cooked one before.

I know there's all diferent kinds, some with yoghurt, some with lentils etc etc.

We haven't got lentils, I'll be able to get yoghurt soon, but what other kinds are there?

Plus can any recipes be for a mild curry, like a korma please.

Pataks is good, authentic stuff, I've used that.
Thanks, but too complicated. If it doesn't come in a tin I don't really want to know.
Fry bite-sized veg in butter, add bottled sauce & cover for 5mins to soften. Is that easy enuf Mike ?
for a one off use a bottled curry sauce such as madhur jaffrey's or any of the dozens available, base it on chicken 'cos it's cheap and will be tender unlike lamb which can be a bit tough unless well cooked and keep it simple. If you are unfamiliar with cooking lentils don't use them they are not essential. One new thing at a time is quite enough.
Wasn't this all discussed last week ?

I didn't discuss it last week. I posted a question a couple of days ago asking if you can freeze curry.
