hi, while i'm not sure about "interraction" it's in the back of my mind that echinacea IS contra-indicated in auto-immune diseases (if we are talking about your daughter)
safest would be to speak to the GP. Is the cyclosporine helping? (i've just gone back on it 2 weeks ago)
"Behçet's is a chronic, unpredictable disease, and there’s no definite progression of symptoms. It often causes your immune system to be overactive, so check with your doctor before taking any herbal remedy (such as echinacea) to boost your immune system, because it may make your symptoms worse"
from a quich google search

Hi Bednobs, well not working as well as what we hoped for, at the moment she has got 5 ulcers on her tongue and her throat is very sore, so we are not sure if she is going to get them there too, she didnt have the ulcers when she first woke up, but she got herslef very stressed as she lost her door key and paniced then the next thing she knew she couldnt talk as she has the ulcers come up on her tongue, as quick as that, so im not sure if i can say they are working or not, all i know is that she would probally be a hell of a lot worse if she wasnt on them, plus she is still on the steroids, will get her to speak to the gp, also we are not sure if she should wear flight socks on a 4.5 hr flight in 2 weeks time, i think its best not too as they may restrict her veins too much, what do you think? x
