Hi Im looking at booking a flight to cyprus in october. Is it best to book now at the current prices or is it best to see if they come down 3 days before? Anyone have experience at this? many thanks.

I would book now, particularly if you want to go anywhere near half term week. You risk limited availability if you book last minute, or even no suitable flights at all. Prices are pretty competitive at the moment with the economic climate.

hi thanks for the prompt reply, we are looking at going the 6th october so we will dodge the half term break. many thanks
It is very, very rare these days to find flights whose prices go down the nearer the date of departure you get. You usually get the cheapest seats sold first, then the prices just keep going up and up!
In my experience flight to Cyprus go up drastically closer to departure as there aren't many carriers that fly there.

BA has a sale on for a couple more days - I'd get onto it sharpish!!
