Help! My I-Tune albums have disappeared

I've been putting my CD collection into i-tunes on my laptop, which is running vista home premium. It has 2gb Ram. Yesterday it displayed a message that Vista (C) was almost full, and gave an option to find more space, which I selected. A bit more space was found, but not much. When I clicked "Start" and then "Computer" i saw that there was another drive called Data (E). This appeared to have 67.4Gb space left from a total of 73.2Gb. Vista (C) had only 0.98Gb left from 74.3Gb.
I thought, why not move I-Tunes from C to A, and tried doing this using Windows Explorer. I have no idea what has happened but now I have just a single track in i-tunes, and cannot find where all the other albums have gone, as they are not in the E drive. However, the C drive is still showing the same almost full status suggesting the albums are still on C. Can anyone explain and help me relocate the albums. Going on holiday soon, and need to transfer the music to the ipod. Many thanks

Go to Start>Search
Select the option to search for all files.
Search for *.mp3
That should find every MP3 file on your laptop, and tell you where they're located.

Thanks for that Chris. I tried what you said, but it came up with nothing at all. Not wanting to give up, I tried typing in the name of an album, which did come up, and this led me to where it was. It was in "C", Music. I was able to then see all the missing albums etc. I clicked on a track and it played. I then went back and clicked on I-Tunes on the desk top, and that track had now been added back into i-tunes, no idea how though. Is there an easy way to put all the music back into i-tunes proper. Really appreciate the help you have given me.

Thanks a million
If you know where all the music files are located, in iTunes, off the top menuu, go to file > add to Library, point iTunes to where the files are, highlight them all and click 'choose'/add'...
u got there befor me shags, but your answer is spot-on.
