The bus company I work for bought some new buses 10 years ago and I recall they paid about £129,000 each for them. That was a fleet order of about 500 doubledeck buses and discount.
Current prices are much higher and obviously depends on the configeration.

The reason I asked is years ago a friend of mine wrote of a double decker bus with a yamaha 50cc moped( it went under the bus and mangled it all up underneath)- he was unhurt.
I wondered what his insurance was the following year!
