Do you eat many salads in winter? having bought all salad things to eat for tea tonight its now very wet and cold outside and it just doesnt seem right

yer but its some vinegar isnt it. Yuk!!
my folks think like that...to them it was just wrong...
but this comes from the days that salad wasnt really considered a dish in its own right...(they are 70 and 80)

all meat and fish then
use some olive oil with added chillie and garlic in it asa dressing and that will warm up a winter salad or even a smidge of fresh ginger grated over it
When I was growing up we would have our main meal for lunch at the weekends then salad every weekend evening. Would have some cold meat with it then it was usually lovely things like toasted teacakes for pudding :)

eeeugh no, dont like hot or spicy, I had warm rice with it.
I love salad with everything in it and rocket, peppers, egg,and beetroot. But it isn't very slimming by the time I eat it, I lke to sprinkle sugar on mine with salad cream, and a nice helping of chips, not bothered about any meat or fish lovely, I could eat it now.
