Frost Free Fridge Freezer

Its a Hotpoint and the past few months the bottom of the fridge is freezing up with a huge chunk of ice across the bottom of it. Even the veg and salad if kept in the trays at the bottom are freezing too! Anyone know whats wrong with it or has it had it!

Does the compressor keep running nearly all the time? if so either the fridge door is not closing properly or the themostat is stuck. both are easy to rectify, you should be able to get a new thermostat for a tenner.

Dont think the compressor is on, does it make a noise?!! All the seals are ok. Is the thermostat easy to fit?
