i wanted to see them but it was cloudy here in staffordshire...

They're supposed to be visible tonight too - the general thought last night was that you look NE, about 80 degrees above horizon (but then othes said they are all over the place).

I was in Kings Lynn last night and the sky was clear and I`ve never seen anything like it before

I saw about 12 between 10:30 and 11 then my kneck started to hurt and it clouded over. Pretty spectaculat tho. One really bright one.

I managed to see some as the clouds parted and was quite spectacular, startling white flashes scooting about. I have severe glaucoma so was quite impressed I could see them.
