I recall my nan and mum cooking a dish called "tatw pum munud", which, from what I can remember was potatoes and bacon (not sure if there was anything else).

Does anyone else remember this dish, and if so, the recipe??

thanks drfrank, i didnt think there would be anything on the internet, am always amazed!
This is a quick variation on the Welsh classic, ''Tatw Pum Munud'' ...
2-3lbs Potatoes peeled and sliced
6-8 Rashers unsmoked bacon
1 large onion sliced and diced
500ml chicken or vegetable stock
Salt and pepper to taste

Method ...
Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Chop up the bacon and onion and fry in large frying pan until both begin to brown and remove from pan. In the same pan fry the potatoes for five minutes in the onion and bacon residue. Cover with stock and simmer for five to ten mins. Transfer to casserole dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add any remaining stock to cover. Place in in the centre of the oven, uncovered, for 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour or until the potatoes have cooked and have absorbed some stock and it has thickened.
