After a cold I sometimes get a sloshing noise in my head. Its not painful but is a bit annoying at night. Does anyone know what this is & how to get rid of it. This last lot of sloshing is taking ages to go away.

I can't give a definitive answer as we're all born differently but i do know there is a tube between your ear and nose, and between nose and throat - this is why Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) infections tend to a)be linked b)happen all together - which tends to get full of mucus when you have cold symptoms - this could explain the sloshing in the ear. Can you be more precise about which area of your head it seems to come from? (no don't say inside)
