I'm 23 and have recently become friendly with a guy on another course at my college whom i was out with at the weekend and a few other friends. He admitted to me that he liked me on the night and we ended up kissing a few times in that night but he hasnt spoken about it this week and I also was a bit drunk when it happened so I dont know if this is why hes dismissed it or perhaps he thinks im too young?? he is 39!!
A girl on my course im friends with liked him for a while but decided he was too old for her but she still flirts with him despite what she says and as I have developed feelings for him now i dont know how to handle the situation.

Can someone give me some advide please. be much appreciated. x

Awww im same age as you.... Do u have his number? I think you should ask him outright and save all the mind games hunni :0( age only a number and. I much perfer older guys id say!!! Other girl will just like the attention but shes not his gf and nothing happened!! I think untill you and he were an item you couldnt say much about her flirting but i so get why it would maby annoy u .... Good luck hunni kp us posted!!!!! Xxx
When I was 23 I started a new job and there was a guy there I liked a lot who was 38. Things were kind of complicated (I was married and pregnant) and I tried to steer clear of him, but I couldn't avoid him completely and would get flustered and feel like a stupid wee girl around him. Anyway, my marriage fell apart and I became good friends with the older guy, flash forward 15 years and today is me our 4th wedding anniversary :)
Oh, and it was me who asked him out - and argued with him when he said he was too old ;)

I have his number yep lol so im able to stay in contact with him,he finishes his course this week so I could always meet up with him then. And i agree with u about the other girl, she probably just enjoys the attention. thanx hun!! x
;0) no probs...... We all like a wee flirt an attention and its gonna annoy u cos you like him!! Wot hav u got to losr by asking... Ull sleep better once u know instead of wondering!!!!! Good luck!!!!!! Xx
No prob with the age difference but, check his background to see if there is not a little lady at his home waiting for him.
23 to 39 age difference is no real big deal but I'd keep it light for a while, make a few discreet enquiries about his marital status cos he does seem to want to flirt with the younger girls. Maybe nothing in it but it maybe because they aren't quite as experienced as woman of his age and perhaps more inclined to take things at face value. Certainly not a bad thing but you don't want to get involved in any sort of domestic upheaval. Good luck and keep us posted.
The man hostage is ten years older than me and by far the best thing I've done (not like that!) in a long time. I think if you're of a similar mindset then age shouldn't matter. My dad is 30 years older than his Mrs...
Same here my O/H Is 8 years older than me and I met him at 18 years old. We have been together ever since. My motto - Older is always better!
Go for it!! you aren't exactly a child now are you, big enough to weigh the pros and cons.
Hey selina,

I'm 23, and my OH is 39! The age gap definitely wouldnt be an issue if you are both pretty much on the same wave length. My OH is a big kid at heart so we have a great time together.

I'd say go for it, you like him, he has said he likes you.. what are you waiting for!?
:-)
