Hello All

"Cash in that place by day oddly", 3-5, got T_E _E_D_

Oddly could be anagram, but anagram of what? A day of the week?

Thanks!

the ready

that place = there, followed by anagram of 'day'
A little tip for you: words to be anagrammed MUST appear in the clue. So this couldn't have indicated a day of the week (that's not in the clue). Hope that makes sense - and helps for the future!
Hi QM2

I still see the odd indirect anagram in crosswords even though it is frowned upon by serious setters.

Star. Thanks so much for 1/ the answer 2/ the explanation, really much appreciated.

Did not know that "ready" meant cash - this is probably due to my lack of familiarity with the English language (i am French) and with cash.

Thanks for your time
