Went to my daughters for a BBQ yesterday, there were 8 of us there but she (I should say Sin L) cooked enough to feed the 5.000. We came away with a 'Doggy bag' steak, chicken, pork steaks, sausages. Soo tonight its cold meats & salad. Easy - Peasy.
After being such a warm day I didn't fancy cooking anyway.
Anyone else got away light tonight?

I was going to have some felafel...but I just realised I haven't got any hummus to go with them...grrrrr
Back to the drawing board.......
pasta, have you got mayo and salad? and pittas? no need for hummus. just squash the falafal into the pittas and slap on the mayo (or yogurt) and as much salad as you can stuff in.

You're all very enterprising it seems. I'm probably the laziest. But hey! I've certainly over the years done my fair share & now I'm tired. All that preparing it, cooking it. sweating over it, dishing it up (6 plates) clearing after, washing up (although we invested in a dishwasher 2 years ago) Meee, I'm soo lazy now I'd rather buy M&S ready meals If I could get away with it.
Happy Cooking folks.
