How many is 5,000 points and where can you spend these points apart from sainsburys? xx

If you go on the website there is a whole heap of places you can spend them and it tells you how many points are worth what.
Nectar points are given at the rate of 1 point per £1 spent, and are worth ½p per point. So your points are worth £25.

That rate compares badly with Tesco's 1p per point (per £1 spent), with frequent offers giving double points as well. It's much worse than the Co-operative which, around here at least, gives 2.5p per pound spent.

I spend mine in Argos, great for exchanging for things you need. We don't have a local Sainbury
^^oops pressed send too soon..... but I do occasional shopping there, also BP petrol, so the points slowly mount up.

it says you can collect on ebay. I bid on ebay earlier for a top and won through the link on nectar yet it hasnt registered the points onto my account?
I think it takes up to 28 days to register if you buy from anywhere but Sainsburys
