packard bell audio dream problem

it is the 1gb colour audio dream and when i switch it on all i get is the packard bell logo and it doesnt load up any of the songs whatsoever, does anyone know how i can fix this?

when the packard bell screen comes upa ll you have to do is on the track selection key keep pressing down until it comes on to the actual song screen. although you will have to do this everytime you use it.
