Weather reports for a specific day

I should probably have put this in weather - but no-one goes in there and I know Chatterbankers are a mine of useful information. Does anyone know of a website that will tell me what the weather was doing on a date in November 2008 in St Albans? I've googled and googled but to no avail. I thought there might be at least one anorak out there who would record these things!

Try metcheck.com, they may have an archive function you may have to email them rather than just searching the site,, the other thing try emailing the tv stations ie BBc, ITV as they may have archive material
