I an currently on job seekers allowance and housing benefit in Greenwich. I am very isolated here,as, I only moved her to be near my place of work, which obviously no longer exists, and I would like to nearer to my friends and family. How difficult is it, to transfer benefits to another borough/district? If anyone has experience of this,or, can give me advice on this matter, I would be most grateful.

your JSA entitlement will remain the same, so you need to go into the nearest jobcentre and fill in a Change of Address form.

if you move to another borough you'll have to reclaim HB and CTB from the new Local Authority. make sure you tell the current LA when you're going or you may be overpaid, and then there'll be trouble, lol!
