I save my receipts until I check them against my statement, I keep electrical receipts until guarantees run out, I keep gas and electric bills for a while, otherwise I chuck them.
I keep some of them, but depends on what they are for as some you need to keep for the warranty etc... but that is a long time to keep hold of them.
I went into a shop in ireland once, and the old man on the till (who had one tooth left) had al his bills from Victorian times, hanging from the wall full of dust. Looked like I had gone back in time, what a wonderful shop that was !

poodi ive never saved a receipt for anything i wish i was a bit more carefull with things like that....mabye not as carefull as pamela miller though...haha TOO FAR methinks x
