I rent my appartment from an estate agents & received a letter last month saying my boiler needs a service by the 17th June & to ring the & arrange with the engineer a convenient time & day. I did this straight away & the engineer said it was too early yet & he would ring me nearer the time. Meanwile the landlady rang on the 14th June & arranged for him to come on the 17th at 5.30pm. By 6.45pm he hadn't turned up so i rang her & left a message. I still hadn't heard anything by Mon 21st so i called into the e.agents & they rang the landlady who explained he had 'ran out of time!' (thanks for letting me know!) Anyway, today at 5.30pm was arranged but here i am again sat waiting & it's now 6.20pm!! What can i do? My certificate is now a week out of date!

Thanks for any help

It isn't your problem - it's the landlord's.
Just carry on as normal, ensuring you are not unduly inconvenienced in the reconvened arrangements to get the damn thing serviced. You've already been messed around far too much.
