Why doesn't Jamie Oliver burn his mouth when he takes a bite out of that sausage straight out of the frying pan?

I was wondering that too but there doesn't seem to be any steam coming from it either so maybe it's cold?
I seriously doubt a master chef that relies on his tastebuds for his career is going to risk burning them for an advert! Obviously not boiling hot I'd say.
Well, for a start, the sausage won't be hot. The time it would take to set up the shot and shoot numerous takes of the scene, they wouldn't leave the sausage frying, and to time the frying of a fresh sausage take after take would slow down filming. It will be warm at least. Also, the sound of the sausage frying would cause problems with the sound recording, easier to dub the frying sound on afterwards, otherwise Jamie may have to post-sync his voice in a sound studio afterwards.
because of his fat tongue
