I'm due to put my car in for MOT in 3 weeks and i have a small problem. When the weather is warm (like some days of this "summer" ;)) or after the car interior has warmed up the air bag warning light starts flashing.

Is this an MOT failure. I really don't have the money to have it fixed. I don't want a great big debate on wheather it is safe or not just to know if it will pass this MOT

It shouldn't fail (you may get an advisory for it)

I have a car whose airbag warning light has been on for over 3 years and it's got through every MOT.
Ordinary garage wouldn`t pass my peugeot with this but the dealer garage did.
If you were in the garages position, would you?
can you disconnect the bulb ?
