A couple of hundred quid will see me right peri.
I have always thought that to be considered "Irish" you have to have been born in the Republic of Ireland, and that if you were born in NI you are a British Subject.

I like a group of singers called Celtic Thunder - one of the guys said their name on a YouTube clip recently.

He pronounced it as Celtic T(h)under. There is something endearing about the Irish habit of dropping their 'H's.

Yes - but it doesn't make the person saying the word sound very bright.

I live in central Scotland - some of the accents 'up north' are strong.

I remember somebody say to me "furryboots yae fae?"





It means " where to you come from".
Now the Scots have to speak slowly to me, I find them hard to understand.
Count-A-Strong, and you claim to make people 'think out side of the box'. Oh dear
