I noticed that FindMyPast are allowing access to all their records for free during the England World Cup matches, so for 3 hours you can search all their records including the 1911 census.

wonder if long term members get to use it free? I'll probably be busy watching the match anyway but I could get someone else to use it in my stead lol

As I expected due to the enormous demand the findmypast website is overloaded and can't cope. I have tried a few times since 7.00pm and will give up and watch the England match instead.
