botheration mazie - not allowed to drive yet
50k a year for life for me would be fine, if you were guaranteed it you would probably be able to borrow as much as you wanted from a bank if need be
how long before they let you loose on the roads again?
probably not until I can at least walk in a striaght line! just call me an old wino. How much would I need to buy out a chain of butchers shops do you reckon - status quo and all that
£50,000 pa for me....double what I earn roughly...I could manage
Spending £50,000 is difficult ?

In what sense ???

Lump sum please, to enjoy while I still have a chance!
All of it NOW please - don't know when my number will be up!
I'd go for the lump sum now so I could pay off the mortgage and the debts, and not have to worry about income at the moment. On the other hand my mother lived to nearly 94, so the other option might be better long term!
half a million would buy outright the house I was born in but it would cost thousands a year to run, but £50,000 a year and I could probably get a mortgage for it and still have the Cleveland Bay stud farm and wine cellar. (it has a hude cellar cut into the pennine rock).
Or 50K a year and I could go and see Garth every month in concert,
I would just like to be able to sashay into the office singing

"Take this job & shove it - I don't work here anymore" or whatever the proper words are,

and then sashay out again :-)
I love your pic Lard!
nice duckling lardy - thought you had a pair?
This one's from the previous batch ttfn - he looks quite comfy doesn't he!

Thank you greedyfly
pls don't tell mercia but I shall never eat duck again
Me neither - can't imagine having plum sauce with this little blighter. My friend thought it was very ironic that he was sitting in an old roasting tin in the paddock the other day!
that's what you get for the world wide web <<closes door quietly>>
500k and have a f.g.t.

The g and t stand for "good" and "time"!
