Although i thought i always made sure my hands were washed before using my laptop, i've just noticed that some of the more useful keys have what look like slight greasy marks on them.

Has anyone used a decent, suitable cleaner for their keyboard, or am i the only one with greasy fingers?!!

i use either turps or surgical spirit. i dip a cotton bud then use it in all the little places as well as the actual keys
I got the same thing, I used 'Mr Muscle Orange Action All Purpose Wipes', did the job perfectly.
I use a facial cleaning wipe! It leaves the mouse sparkling clean too.

Suggestions noted! Thanks for those. Will try them asap.

Hermia - i used a facial wipe when i first noticed the marks but it made no difference. I was convinced it would work miracles and was soooooo disappointed! I bought the cheapy ones, so perhaps i should have splashed out a bit. (Although they WERE good for the screen.)

Incidentally - facial wipes are very good at cleaning aluminium venetian blinds.
